Correct and anyone working at the warehouse understands this. However it is wildly confusing for an end user to be presented with all of these extra non required field. Maybe a simple solution would be 2 CSV files to select from: 1) Simple replenishment with the fields above 2) Create items/Add replenishment which would have all the field present. Always good to keep in mind the people that are viewing the files and their limited exposure to ShipEdge, making it more seamless for them means less customer support calls to the warehouse.
Shipedge allows you to add Skus and if you add Quantities, it will also create a replenishment. Most fields in the CSV upload to add inventory and/or create a replenishment are optional. Serials are usually entered in a separate file when the Serials IO module is turned on. Shipedge also offers a view to upload SKUs into an existing replenishment. Us that the view you are referring to?
